The Song of my Jau (4)

Today I was in the church for a while. I'm no longer a Catholic, but I like to go there sometimes, and sit in the silence, meditating, in the dim light, amidst few candles and flowers and soft perfume of frankincense. I was praying to Our Lady for her protection, that she will guide you and keep us from harm.
And then it came back to me. Suddenly, I was surrounded by the fragrance of your eau de cologne, my Emperor. It felt as if we last met yesterday and I'm still inebriated by it, and yet we've not seen each other for so long. But your scent lingers, the unique result of the touch of the cologne on your skin. Always there caring for me. Irreplaceable, unmistakable, inimitable. No one can pretend it's you. Not with me. How I wish you were here. My one and only you.I believe you really love me. Please, let me know it's true.
(Note: Napoleon was the first world leader to wear eau de cologne.)
