The Ides of March

Among the very many artistic pieces concerning the death of Julius Caesar, 2053 years ago, I highly recommend the homonym play by Shakespeare, one of my favourites. It's a monument to rhetoric and power. It's a compulsory mirror for politicians.

There's a movie version (1953) where a very young and gorgeous Marlon Brando (native of Aries, by the way) plays an outstanding Antony. To watch this film is a wonderful educational entertainment, believe me. I taught this play in the university for many years.
