Star Wars is coming back in two days, in 3D. I don't appreciate the format, but I'm sure many millions will.
Anyway, it will be a chance to revisit one of the most idiotic characters in the history of cinema. Yes, you guessed right: Jar Jar Binks it is. This doesn't mean I dislike the creature. Indeed, he makes me laugh. Maybe because I keep my childish side so alive. I like cartoons, and Jar Jar is cartoon-toyish-like. It's a pity he's too much of an accident waiting to happen. Even the child in me got tired of him before half-time of the first episode.
There is a line, at the beginning of the film, that pops up in my memory every time I think of him. The ridiculous mess he is probably deserves no better:
No-ah 'gain, Jar Jar.
