Yes, it’s me. In these times, when image is overrated, I prefer not to splash my photos around the web. However, I do have a body and a face, so it’s fair enough people want to know how I look like.
Well, here it is. I believe this is the only photo of mine I’ll post online. It’s not a joke. The main features of a person hardly change throughout life. The important is there. Anyone who knows me, recognizes me instantly by looking at it. So, that's it. I hope you like it. But you’re entitled not to.
I decided to post it today, because it’s the day of my Rising Sign. In my horoscope, the Rising Sign is at 13 degrees of the Sign of Cancer. At the same degree, there is the Moon, which rules Cancer. It means that everything connected with the Sign of Cancer and the Moon is extremely important to me. Our image is connected to our Rising Sign. Therefore, my image is very connected to the Sign of Cancer and the Moon. The simple fact of posting this specific photo proves it.
OK. Now you’re thinking of the prototype: a shy baby. Yes, that’s what I was, but I grew up. I’ll be Baby forever, for my family and my loved ones (that’s the nickname my parents gave me: Bébé, in Portuguese, read with open E); but I stopped being shy, bashful, introverted and all that, long ago. I’m reserved, a reserved person; that’s why I like to be out of sight and far away from the crowd. I reserve myself, my thoughts, my words, my feelings, my displays for better occasions. Until then, I keep them to myself and to those I trust. And that is, I think, who I’m going to be for the rest of my life. That’s my public image, the way I contact with other people, my shell (like the Crab). But, like most of those influenced by the Sign of Cancer, once the shell is gone, call us extroverts, if you like. We are little boxes full of surprises. Or, maybe, it’s nothing more than the old and notorious moonstruck behaviour, also known as lunacy…

This doesn't imply I don't act or decide. In fact, I do both a lot and quickly. But it explains why I love reserved men of vision, decision and action. Alexanderlike! It's written in the stars.
